How the Balloon animals were thought of

my favourite movie of all time is The Mask and seeing as we were creating 3 clowns i figured we needed to have some balloon animals so i showed the guys the clip they loved it.

Opening Credits

Hey guys, damn I wish I could do filming with you all day because you guys looked like you were having fun.

So I’ve sent you the video clip (Opening credits). I’ve edited it and created with colour styles because I enjoy editing stuff. Im using very cheesy music (from what you’ve seen, you didn’t like the music then bring your preferred music on Monday or Tuesday) What do you think of our video(Opening credits)?

Just watched first Rough Cut!

Hey guy's, I just watched the first rough cut, I thought some shots were good but the dedo light/ spotlight was too strong on characters faces :( I thought the sound that was picked up was out of synch at times and it really isnt good enough overall if we used it for the final cut. I think we meet tomorrow at 11 and re-shoot and figure out what needs to be tweeked before seeing Annie. In all though for a first rough cut, it isnt bad. I liked the first opening shot and sarah getting on stage combined with sarah knocking on the dressing room and talking to the 2nd clown, well edited Kit. Im glad we are re-shooting as i wouldnt have been happy with this as the final cut. On a happy note ive got the storyboards done but i dont know how to upload them to this blog???? wb soon guys. peace. :)

The costumes arrived today! As we were already out filming. I hope the Showroom are kind enough to let us use it again for a few hours cos the costumes would look so good.

Filming in a real life cinema room

Today was awesome because we have had a whole cinema booked out for us to film from 10-12, it felt like we were professional directors and actors today, we got alot of our filming done, the main parts of the film were shot and it looks fantastic.

Inspirations

Hi all,

I play the judge character (with an awesome scottish accent) and i must admit that accent wasnt my favourite or my first choice.

At First i wanted to make the Judge irish but i ended up sounding like louis walsh and i didnt want that because i hate John and Edward Grimes from the X Factor, secondly i wanted to make the Judge Italian because i can do that accent well and i love Gino DaCampo from "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" and after doing the rehearsal i was playing around with a few "Family Guy" accents and we all loved the stewie accent so we will leave it a suprise to what accent i use.

This is a rehearsal version of the final thing and is nothing but an opportunity to learn more about how this will come together. And it should help to get everyones expectations low, ready for the real thing!!!

Music!

Another suggestion for music is 'Enter the Circus' by Christina Aguilera. Its very slow but i think its could work to our advantage? If we got our direction of movement of our clown to it? write back to tell me what you think?

'IT'

Hey guys,
Right my influence for this project is IT which i brought up with Annie during our talk session. Im going to show you guys a sequence from the film to clarify your view of the clown figure/ mannerisims our clown could portray. Personally i think 'Tim Curry' is dressed brilliantly he isnt just your average clowning around party clown. Theres alot of shape to his character though i think we can be influenced by Tim's exterior? His mannerisms arent so clown-like dont pay attention to those as it is a horror clown. Enjoy :)
